Habits and daily rhythm

Let the room do the nagging. A desk, a lamp and a daily shape do more than two thousand reminders.

The short version

Most eye-healthy habits are house-level, not child-level: a chair that puts the book a forearm away, a lamp bright enough that nobody leans in, a day with daylight at one end and a screen-free hour at the other. Sleep is not an eye treatment, but evening light and late screens push bedtime and steal the morning daylight. Dry, sore or over-blinking eyes are common, usually harmless and worth a look if they persist. This topic is the practical layer: what to change before tomorrow's homework, how to make one rule stick until it is boring, and when a habit question is really an appointment question.
